This will be a radical re-imagining of permaculture education and certification. This course will honor the deep wisdom of our planet’s fiercest protectors, and will focus on unlearning the colonialist harm within permaculture.
We cannot protect the natural world that has been dehumanized and violated without protecting the humans –Black and Brown, 2/3rds world and diaspora people, with our legacies, traditions, embodied memory, oral herstories, and intergenerational understanding– who defend our planet, protect and nurture the myriad vital, ancestral, sacred, natural connections that make life on Earth possible.
